COE 90: GREEN & TURQUOISE Glow in the Dark Cabochon, unique cabochon, jewelry making, wire wrapping, abstract art glass, stained glass

This listing is for a unique, one of a kind Green & Turquoise glow in the dark cabochon made by me in my studio here in the Pacific Northwest.

This cabochon measures approximately 1 1/2" x 1 7/8” and is ~6mm in thickness.

This is a great size for a stained glass or glass on glass mosaic project. I also know many artists that use these in mixed media projects and various other projects!

Handmade in the PNW using Bullseye Glass (COE 90). (Good to know if you choose to fuse this into another project!)

Glow in the dark glass has phosphorescence... meaning it contains a special substance called phosphor. Phospors give off visible light after being energized. (This means that they have to soak up light for a while before they will glow!) I use strontium aluminate which is a new phosphate that allows a "super" glow! It stores about 10 times more light than zinc sulfate (Another type of phosphor used to create glow in the dark items). As a result... the glow lasts longer!
