COE 96 / Sea of Stars Glow-Rini! Turquoise Blue glow in the dark murrini

This listing is for Sea of Stars Glow-Rini! (Glow-Rini is Murrini that glows!) This Murrini has turquoise blue glow scattered throughout that looks like the bioluminescence found in the ocean… specifically the tide of the Indian Ocean in the Maldives, also known as the Sea of Stars 😍
It is hand made by me in the PNW using Oceanside Glass (COE 96).
I have found that the blue charges much more quickly with a black light flashlight.
The last few photos show what the slices look like after they are fired.
It comes in either 1.5 or 3 ounce packs. Please select your desired quantity from the drop down menu.
Canes are approx. 2” - 2 1/4" long and will also vary in diameter.
All photos are of an actual pull and are as true to color as possible. Due to the many variations in monitors and browsers, colors may appear different on different monitors. I can not guarantee that the color you see on your device is the same as in person.
Glow in the dark glass has phosphorescence... meaning it contains a special substance called phosphor. Phospors give off visible light after being energized. (This means that they have to soak up light for a while before they will glow!) I use strontium aluminate which is a new phosphate that allows a "super" glow! It stores about 10 times more light than zinc sulfate (Another type of phosphor used to create glow in the dark items). As a result... the glow lasts longer!
